Its all began…

When a heart to serve that was not encouraged, but fiercely opposed. As a woman many times the love of Jesus and passion to do something for Him is not met with encouragement, or approval.

It took a lot of grit, a lot of courage, and a lot of love for many of us to move forward in the midst of it. And along the way those that perceived the Spirit of God working in the life of this young girls gave us the affirmation that let me know that it was okay to love Jesus and to want to lead an army for Him. God put both men and women in our lives that helped us to see past the cultural norms and move forward in faith.

And then the Sisterhood and Preacher girls happeneda group of women in college that had a heart for Jesus and were often admired, or ridiculed for it. At first it began with a few, then it grew to probably 10-15 women that were now supporting one another. Everyone made sure to check in on each other, constantly challenged each other to not be idle, or fickle in our faith, and prayed together. These group of women were inspirational, and God did an amazing work through us all for His glory.

Then we all moved away. and we didn't have each other for encouragement, but we wanted this positive sisterhood experience to continue and we wanted to share it with all the sisters of faith we encountered. We knew that the church was filled with women desiring to know Jesus better and do something for Him. So we created Wild + Faith together. A place that a woman of faith could find encouragement, belonging, sisterhood, and resources. Because although that was our story (and we were blessed to have it), it is not everyone's story. Not everyone is surrounded by passionate women, not everyone has access to mentorship and camaraderie. So we thought maybe it would be cool, if we brought it to you.

So here you are :) Now a part of the greater sisterhood that God is creating in the church. God is constantly moving, we are just a vehicle for His greatness.
